Product Review A safe, natural and very effective mosquito and insect repellent Our patented technology that powers our Mozzipel range of mosquito repellent products has been independently tested in the USA as well as in South Africa by the SABS and found to be as effective as we claim.Mozzipel is a long lasting, plant based natural mosquito and insect repellent. It’s a DEET free alternative to synthetic insect repellents and scientifically proven to be as effective. Use Mozzipel™ when walking, cycling, climbing, camping, golfing or just lying around on the beach. The most important fact is that it DOES NOT contain DEET (N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide). DEET is found in many mosquito repellent products on the market and is a chemical compound not recommended for use on babies younger than 2 months old. DEET can act as an irritant and in rare cases can cause severe epidermal reactions. Mozzipel does not contain DEET and it has been blended into Petroleum Jelly and Mineral Oil bases for ease of use.
